The global wine industry produces 12 million tonnes of waste every year. There is no singular blueprint for its disposal at the moment and smaller wineries struggle with the cost associated with its disposal. PomacePaper and PomacePlastic repurposes the harvest waste into compostable and natural packaging solutions for wine bottles such as a wine bag and a bottle seal. They both have a second life of a wine stand and a wine stopper in order to prolong their product life.
